Exciting changes are on the way

On May 15, 2026, administration of your Shell Credit Card account will begin transitioning from Citibank, N.A. to Imprint Payments, Inc., and will be issued by First Bank & Trust. Shell selected Imprint, a technology-driven credit card company that powers modern programs for leading brands, to support the next evolution of the Shell Credit Card experience.

By May 18, 2026, the transition will be complete, and your new Shell Performance Elite World Mastercard® will be ready to use.

Verify your information to ensure you get updates about your card

Make sure your current Shell Credit Card account has your most up-to-date contact information, including your email address, billing address, and phone number so you don’t miss important notifications. Verify your information in your Citibank account.

Early May 2026

Your new Shell Performance Elite World Mastercard® will arrive

New physical Shell Credit Cards will begin arriving in early May 2026 for eligible cardholders. Once you receive your card, you can activate it, set up your PIN, and begin preparing your account for the transition to Imprint, including linking your bank account and updating your preferences. If you do not receive a physical card, you can request one in the Imprint App.

Your new card will be ready to use beginning May 18, 2026. Until then, your current card will continue to work as usual.

Starting May 15, 2026

Your account will officially transition to Imprint Payments

Customer support will be handled by Imprint from this date forward. Any remaining balance on your old card will automatically transfer to your new Imprint account. Stored payment methods, including autopay settings, will not automatically transfer and will need to be updated in your new Imprint account.

Starting May 18, 2026

Your new card is ready to use

Your new Shell Performance Elite World Mastercard® is ready to use. Your previous card will no longer authorize transactions, and you may securely dispose of it.

You will receive a welcome email with important details about earning and redeeming Shell Rewards.

Beginning May 18, 2026, all payments must be made to Imprint.

Shell is partnering with Imprint Payments to bring you a modern, rewarding, and flexible credit card experience. With the upgraded card, you’ll enjoy enhanced digital tools, enhanced rewards and can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted.

If you have a Shell | Fuel Rewards® Mastercard® or a Shell | Fuel Rewards® Credit Card:

In addition to your new card benefits, you will continue to save 10 cents off per gallon (up to 20 gallons) on every fill up with Shell Fuel Rewards®.

Any rewards you've earned that you do not receive prior to May 15th will be credited to your new Imprint account as a statement credit.

If you have a Shell Platinum Select® Mastercard®:

You’ll continue to earn rewards for fuel transactions posted to your Citibank, N.A. account through April 30, 2026. After April 30, 2026, you will no longer earn the following rewards.

  • 10 cents off per gallon (up to 100 gallons) on your next statement as a credit when you spend $500 - $999 
  • 15 cents off per gallon (up to 100 gallons) on your next statement as a credit when you spend $1,000 - $2,499
  • 20 cents off per gallon (up to 100 gallons) on your next statement as a credit when you spend more than $2,499

If you have earned any rewards associated with this account, Citibank, N.A. will credit your account no later than May 15, 2026. If you have any questions, Citibank, N.A. representatives are available to assist you at the number on the back of your Shell Platinum Select® Mastercard®.

Once you receive your new physical card, you can link it to your Shell Fuel Rewards® account and save even more on every fill up at Shell.

If you have a Shell Card Drive for Five® or Shell Card:

These cards don't have rebates to transfer, so you'll start fresh with the new rewards program.

The Shell Fuel Rewards® program is not offered by or administered through Imprint or First Bank & Trust.

If you have an existing Shell Credit Card and receive a notice in the mail stating your account is being converted to a Shell Performance Elite Mastercard® by Imprint, you do not need to apply for the card. If you do not receive a physical card, you can request one in the Imprint App.

‍To ensure you receive all communications related to this change, make sure your contact information is up to date in your Citibank account.

The Shell Performance Elite World Mastercard® can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted.

Previous billing statements will not be available in your new Imprint account. If you need access to historical statements after the transition, please contact Imprint Support at 1 (888) 427-0544.

To ensure uninterrupted access, we strongly recommend downloading any billing statements you may need as soon as possible and no later than May 14, 2026.

Yes. Autopay from your previous issuer (Citibank, N.A.) does not transfer and must be re-established in Imprint.
